The Smackdown was a huge success. The Ribs from all contestants were delicious. There were so many salads to accompany the meat that we could barely fit everything in. For example most of the corn on the cob did not find its way to our plates. This was a very fun event and next year is already in the planning stages, Dutch Oven Dessert Cookoff with the main course being a Roasted Pig, prepared in the ground and managed by the group! We will look for an earlier weekend in July in order to get more members of our family involved.
